Hello, and welcome to the official blog of Home Source One, the HSO +insider! Here you will find short posts dedicated to a variety of fun topics surrounding the mobile home industry. We will be making regular weekly posts, both on Tuesdays and Fridays. Fridays will be a little more special, as we will be featuring one of our wonderful communities each week as a "Community Highlight". This will give our residents as well as new visitors an opportunity to learn a little more about our "family" of communities scattered across the Midwest.
Today's first Community Highlight is dedicated to Balsam Lake Estates, located in the tiny town of Balsam Lake, WI, about an hour outside of the Twin Cities. This community is in the heart of a lake town, so water sports and outdoor activities, such as golf, snowmobiling and fishing are quite popular among residents. Dozens of lakes surround the area, including 2,000-acre Balsam Lake, which is home to vacationers year-round, as well as events like the Bass Classic Fishing Tournament held each July. The annual Freedom Festival also takes place in July and is a celebration of the town’s rich history. The location and features of this community contribute to making it a quiet, yet vibrant place to live. Pets are welcome and recreational facilities are available for residents to use. Young children can take advantage of the on-site playground. If you are interested in a relaxing, small-town setting, Balsam Lake Estates is the perfect place to be.
A FEW FUN FACTS:
