Community Highlight - Forest Glen

Our community highlight of the week is dedicated to the community of Forest Glen, which resides in the small seaport city of Marinette, WI. The city of Marinette is an ideal location for individuals and families of all ages because of its prime location. Located just north of the Green Bay area, it offers a family oriented-atmosphere and a low cost of living. Recreational activities are plentiful because of Marinette’s proximity to the shore of Lake Michigan. Boating, tennis, and golf are popular in the summer, while ice skating and snowmobiling let winter sports enthusiasts live out the dream. Hunting and fishing are also abundant because of the wide expanse of natural area throughout the city’s boundaries, most notably, the Menominee River basin. The city is also in fairly close proximity to the Door County area. With just a short drive, you are free to enjoy all the peninsula has to offer. Something that makes the Marinette area slightly unique is the large opportunity for educational advancement that lies within. Whether you are just starting your children out in school or you are an aspiring college student yourself, there are a plethora of schools to choose from without a far commute. The University of Wisconsin Green Bay – Marinette Campus and NWTC are most popular to the area. The community of Forest Glen lies within Marinette’s boundaries and is a peaceful spot for our residents within to call home. It is ideal for families who are looking to settle down, and pets are always welcome. If you are interested in moving to Northern Wisconsin, to an area filling with natural beauty and opportunity, Forest Glen may be perfect for your next home.
